Jack of all trades master of none.I have given myself that nick since last year when i got about purely Bs for all my subjects. I thought maybe i could up them to an a1 during o levels but unfortunately they upped to A2s. i have 5A2s, 1 A1 and 2B3s. still Jack.
Today was craaazy.
I totally psyhed myself up for Nexus right, since i basically had no other choice. so when i got there and they started having a meeting i wanted to die. Like, i dont mean to be mean lah but the people in nexus.................................................... The president is nice like crazy. but the rest of the people are the Kings of Dorkusville. and like. okay i can still hang with dorky people im fine with that but the worst thing was they are like damn slack like crazy. They have like this food bazaar coming up and the president assigned them to go check out the prices of different food sold at different places so they can get the cheapest supplier. and they didnt do it. and she was like really frustrated but they were still laughing and all like but its so mafun lets just get from giant all that kinda bull. and the bestthing is the president has to submit the proposal to the big P by FRIDAY. THIS FRIDAY. like. such a slack club already at least have some...sense of urgency and all. But seriously i couldnt do it. so i had to leave. and i had to drag twinkle out cos i couldnt leave her dying there. but now shes stil thinking of going back (i dont know what to do with her)
so then i went to check out the Drama board. while looking for it i found the Dance board and just decided to see where they were, with no intention of going at all. i only noted level four lah. so i went to the drama board and it said lecture theatre two. and most trials started at 230 and it was alrdy 3 thanks to nexus. (btw only 5 people including me and twinkle turned up for nexus) so i rushed to the drama room and they were playing whacko on stage so like DAMN frickin awkward to go in. Moreover i met daniel teo on the way and he was all like SARAH DONT GO IN DONT GO IN. in the end i went to the toilet to change to my pe shirt which i had to buy cos i didnt bring one cos i thought nexus all the way for me. (nexus doesnt require you to change into pe shirt)
So on the way dan and i had this conversation. (note that this was after i looked at drama)
me: okay shit i think i have to try for dance lah.
dan: what. you?. dance?. OMG?. SARAH ARE YOU SURE.
me:....................................i always dance.
dan: where???
me: uh in church.
dan: WHAT??? BUT CHURCH IS DIFFERENT SARAH. (Starts to freak out)
me: aiyah trust me lah i can dance.
dan: OMG? ARE YOU SURE.
dan obviously thinks im a moron. but anyway so i go up to level four half heartedly and i meet wilson my lovelylovely cousin and he tells me to go inside so i do and i write my name and get a group. then half of us go to the canteen and wait where i meet judith and her friend jolene. we talk about bowling and drama (back up plans). then its our turn and im scared but not to the freak out stage cos i dont even want to be in dance. just trying out cos i have no where to go. and freddy teaches us the routine and we do it a couple of times then we go out and the 1st group auditions then we go in and we have to dance in front of everyone in groups of like 5 random people. and we had to do freestyle as well which wasnt as scary as i thought. In the end, to our utmost surprise judith and i got in.
i was talking/bein greally happy for jussy who got in and i halfheard the person call my name so i had no idea and no one else had an idea and if i go and sit with the accepted peopl eand in the end im not called i will be the joke of the next 5 years. HAHAHAHAHA. but no, i got in. i double checked. major whoop. so now im going to stay lah! and love dance. i just thought it was hilarious that i went from mAjOr L to coolest CCA. hahaha. crazy. so yay, im happy. thank God. now i hope my knee doesnt completely bail on me.
